Sticks, Stone's, Ropes, and Knives!

I was walking in a park in Staten Island, took out my guitar, wrote this song, and that just goes to show that playing guitar, writing songs, they're no big deal. It's just a walk in a park.

Greetings,
Here's a cover of Eric Clapton's Motherless Child. I forgot the mic, so we went acoustic. Hope you enjoy.

Crowd Pleaser (Rattling Moon)

Here's a run through of a song we wrote a while back. It's sort of a slow jam song, which escalates, so if you don't like the singing, listen to the jam session that starts about three minutes in. The rap which Sam does at the end of the video was a freestyle!
             Enjoy

Rattling Moon Live

Rattling moon, being Sam Slocum on keyboard and Vocals, Dominic Gould on Bass Guitar, Sam Greenberg on drums, and myself, Nathan Gittleman on guitar and vocals, performed at a variety show. The first song is an original, called Daniel Hawthorne, a blues rock piece, pretty simple, fun to jam off of. The name actually came from Sam Slocum hearing the Name in the chorus, even though the actual lyrics are "and my heart won't". We decided to keep with it as the name. Our Lazaretto cover, from Jack White, is a very fun punkish, alternative track, great to just go all out on as Sam did an amazing job. Throughout the performance, many catastrophes were solved by good teamwork. I dropped my pick and Dom gave me a new one, the mic stand was sinking and Slocum put it back up, Dom's pedal wasn't working, so I kicked the cable, etc. Hope you enjoy.

Objects in the Mirror are closer then they appear.

Greetings fellow umm, I don't know what to call you guys anymore, whatever. Today I would like to discuss Rattling Moon's expiremental single, Objects in the Mirror are Closer than the appear. It's simple lyrics are met with ambient guitar and and melodic, intoxicating bass. A simple techno influenced drum beat proceeds in the background. The end result is rather odd and is not something that those who do not listen to expiremental music would appreciate, those who do like it will enjoy. Here is the link towards the single on souncloud, below is a video of the song without the guitar part.

Intro to the band.

For those who read my blog for the cutting humor, the antiquated antics and searing satire, fear not! Those wonderful attributes will remain, there has just been a change of subject. This blog will now cover everything and anything pertaining to my band, Rattling Moon.
Rattling Moon consists of bassist, Dominic Gould, keyboardist and vocalist, Sam Slocum, drummer, Sam Greenberg, and guitarist/ overall noise maker, myself, Nathan Gittleman. We play a mixture of Hard Rock, Grunge, Indie, Blues and Expiremental music that somehow works well together. Soon we shall be posting more about music, rare videos, obscure recordings, elusive interviews (no not really), and just random crap pertaining to Rattling Moon.
         Salutations,
                           Dominic,                                                                                                                                                                    Sam,                                                                                                                                                                    Sam,                                                                                                                                                                    and Nathan
